The Production Company follows the philosophy from Arthurian legend, emphasizing that all creatives are appreciated and have a seat at the table throughout projects. Round Table Collaborations can provide a foundation for the development and completion of a project or assistance in finding key creative individuals to fill roles—ensuring equal value for all media projects. The aim is to support the building and growth of various productions by working directly, suggesting, or assembling incredible team members.All needs and roles of a production can be supported through collaboration:

Originally starting from humble beginnings, 'WorkJoker Productions' emerged through the creation of passion projects, student films, corporate endeavors, event coverage, and collaborative short and feature film productions. Operating under the umbrella of 'Round Table Collaborations,' it serves as a comprehensive library and testimonial timeline, documenting ongoing growth, diverse project experiences, and creative connections. The scope encompasses Film Set Productions, Studio Work, Passion Projects, and Live Broadcasts.André Scholz, the visionary behind 'Round Table Collaborations' and 'WorkJoker Productions,' brings extensive industry experience and a network of passionate professionals. André Scholz is a Director, Producer, Project Manager, and Assistant Director based in Brisbane and Cairns. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Media) from Queensland University of Technology. André has held diverse roles, including Director, Production Management, Assistant Director, Vision Switcher, Camera, Lighting, Sound, Production Assistant, Continuity, Data Wrangler, and Runner, working with notable organizations such as Alpha Media Services, SportsLink, Channel 9, Channel 7, Wild Bunch Media, ABC, Wild Bear Media, Brisbane Council, and Brisbane Esports, among others.In addition to his extensive experience, André's eagerness and passion for filmmaking and production have led him to serve as a Production Manager, Director, Assistant Director, Production Assistant, Cameraman, Vision Switcher, Cable Wrangler, Key Grip, Gaffer, and Best Boy in various broadcasts and television productions.Currently specializing as a Producer, Director, and Assistant Director (1st AD), André thrives on the critical thinking and problem-solving that come with these roles, drawing on his proficiency in all areas of production and filmmaking. As a freelancer, he has recently undertaken roles such as Producer, Production Manager, Script Consultant, and 1st AD for several Cairns-based film productions, focusing on connecting crews and building projects.Beyond his professional roles, André's passion for filmmaking and production extends to media education and achieving student outcomes. He actively contributes to the media curriculum, playing a crucial role in building the next generation of media practitioners. Furthermore, André has served as ATOM’s representative for Far North Queensland, working with schools in the community to evolve and connect media education between schools, aiding in the development of the Understory High Student Film Festival. He also continues to play a key role in creating bridging pathways and opportunities for youth transitioning from school to university to the industry, as well as advancing his own professional development and bringing together larger project collaborations within the community.

Logline:A fallen knight reluctantly joins a spirited messenger to combat orcs, leading to a transformation where the messenger emerges as the true hero in a dark fantasy saga of redemption, sacrifice and courage.
The conclusion of one hero's journey marks the inception of a new hero's tale.
Mission Statement (from the team):This short film is a thrilling action fantasy set in a fictional Far North Queensland, Australia.Our goal is to enchant audiences at film festivals and online by introducing them to a uniquely diverse take on familiar tropes and an Australian spin on the fantasy genre as a whole.With this production, we aim to revolutionize the Far North Queensland film community by showcasing local talent, the incredible collaboration of artists, and stunning locations.
